Facebook All Set For A New Layout For Its Open Graph App Stories.
Facebook is now all set to bring new changes in the layout for Open Graph app stories which they claim is much similar to Pinterest. The new layout in the Open Graph app means more beauty and options for users that would entail them to like their favorite product, put their comments and involve in much more app related activities.
These changes are sure to enhance the importance of app stories in News Feed. For the app developers too it means lot more scope to show their creative spell as there will be more large photos, captions and many more additional options to engage with app content.
As a user clicks on a photo, he is taken to the third-party app page or website. Here the users get options to give their comment on the item. This feature was not available in the older layout. Besides users are also free to involve themselves in app without having them to leave Facebook if it has custom action links.
This change is likely to be applied to all the Open Graph stories including games, apps and also in a situation when apps share multiple photos. For example in one of the examples, a new design of Etsy showed number of times a friend had liked a particular item. Photos have been displayed in the form grid like situation on the screen and buttons have been displayed below each section which allows you to comment or just like an individual photo.
Particularly app related actions can also be incorporated in it. The best example found is that of Foodspotting post. As soon as someone clicks on stories, you can have a dish straight from your News Feed. No doubt this feature is only available for applications are heavily dependent on users.
Facebook’s Open Graph Platform has been a most virtualized gift for Facebook app developers . This platform assists users to reach news feed via Facebook integration and through best placement of stories in users News Feed, Timeline and Tickets. For users this new layout means more interaction and more feasibility to get their incredible number of likes.
