NowNow is a leading FinTech company catering to Nigeria's B2B and B2C segments. It is an E-Wallet/ Payment Application that empowers people to access financial services like money transfers, bill payments, and online payments, and tap & pay with simple clicks of buttons.
To create financial inclusivity for individuals not well-versed with payment wallets, NowNow also operates on Agent Business Model. Consumers can simply walk up to agents to pay bills, make bank transfers, buy airtime, etc.
The client realized the growing competition in the Fintech market posed the threat of losing their agent network and existing customer base. They wanted a solution that aided agents in their business growth, motivating them to stay loyal to the brand.
They wished to integrate an e-commerce platform within their app that allowed their agents to market their products and services to a more extensive nationwide audience.
Since the client already had a pre-existing customer and agent app, the addition of ShopNow, the digital commerce platform, must be well integrated with the existing apps to ensure a seamless experience for agents and customers.

Our solution comprises a PWA customer app, a web-based store admin panel, and a mobile application, a web-based business admin panel.

Customer Application

ShopNow customer application is an extension of the existing app with an additional feature of the eCommerce marketplace. Here customers can see the listed shops in the NowNow customer app. Features :-

=> ShopNow customer app allows users to browse multiple stores offering different products.

=> Customers can filter out products and services based on category, tag, discounts, pricing, reviews, etc.

=> To make the payment convenient, the app allows the customers to pay via the NowNow wallet & cards, bank, etc. The customer also gets an option to split payment between different modes like NowNow + card, NowNow + Bank, etc.

=> The app also offers loyalty points, referral discounts, a product return option, and extensive customer support to the customers.

Merchant App

We built an extensive merchant web/mobile app that allows them to easily carry out their transactions, sell products and buy products from fellow sellers. Features:-

=> The ‘Sell’ tab allows merchants to add their products, quantity, variant, images, etc., to build their online store on the NowNow app.

=> The merchant gets a real-time update on the received orders and the freedom to accept and reject the same. Every order is automatically assigned a unique id to enable easy tracking. They can also view the status of the delivered and pending orders.

=> The agents can use the same portal to generate order requests for the offline orders received, empowering them to manage the entire business on this portal.

=> The merchant can set up different delivery settings like delivery mode & time, base fee, and cluster fee, which are automatically added as the default setting for the customers.

=> Merchants can view the return request for items coming from consumers, the items that are already returned, and their reasons in the ‘Return’ tab.

=> The solution also comes with Analytics that provide reports on the total number of customers, orders received, most commonly demanded products, and other customer insights on a real-time basis.

=> The ‘Buy’ tab allows merchants to buy products from their fellow sellers.

Admin Panel

The NowNow team can onboard new merchants/agents in their digital commerce services by entering the basic details of their store, e.g., store name, logo, location, email address, etc., using the admin panel.

=> The dashboard shows top-performing MListed shops, top revenue-generating areas, sales graphs, and top customers (based on order value).

=> Admin can view commission earned per merchant and their orders. Add tags to merchants, enable, disable, and delete their customer reviews.

=> The admin can create new product categories, edit, view, activate/deactivate & delete merchants.

=> Under customer management, the admin can block/unblock users and edit/view customer details.

=> Product & inventory management allows the client to manage categories & subcategories- edit, disable, and delete product options.

=> The admin can add products and variants with images, descriptions, and discounts. Map products with categories & available tags, add stock, MRP discount, and set threshold.

=> Bulk import & export merchant details, view product ratings & reviews, and out-of-stock products.

=> The admin can create discount coupons- flat discounts & percentages, set limits for the minimum orders, discounts, loyalty program points, and redemption policies.
